General Discussion
For the last several years I have observed the explosion of so-called alternative media sources, primarily on social media platforms such as X, formerly Twitter. Because I had stopped consuming any established mainstream media outlets years ago, I was drawn to these supposed alternative forms of media, as a source of information about current events, politics and cultural issues. I was a big supporter of these seemingly more independent sources for information and, admittedly, I spent quite a bit of time consuming their posts and videos and as time went on I began to notice some very obvious patterns emerge. I noticed that many of the larger independent social media accounts posted only the most divisive content that seemed to always represent a sort-of counter-narrative, in that it never actually addressed underlying and more significant information - information that would clarify the bigger picture. For example, numerous content creators that presented themselves as having a more Libertarian bent, would focus mainly on narratives that were counter Left and had actually had a more Right Wing color to them. Timcast is what comes to mind the most obviously in this regard, because Tim Pool always seemed to address hot button topics that were the most divisive, yet never addressing the core underlying issues, such as the rise of the totalitarian, globalist agendas forwarded by organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF). As I became more aware of these sources of very palatable counter narratives, I recognized them more and more. I found it strange that it seemed as if anyone on social media that strayed away from an official narrative vs. counter narrative model, was de-amplified and only those who adhered to this model were amplified. Since I tended to focus on the larger, underlying (or overarching) narratives, I was rarely getting much engagement at all, despite having some larger accounts that followed me. This began to open my eyes and create a paradigm shift, one which opened my eyes in ways that surprised me.
When considering the storied history of intelligence agencies and their operations around the world, including large scale psychological operations, it raises the question of how much of the information provided to the public through official government sources and mainstream media are actually state-sanctioned psychological operations being carried out on American citizens in order to shape and shift public opinions, and garner support for larger agendas? I would recommend doing some research into the Smith-Mundt Act, and more specifically, the Smith-Mundt Modernization act: https://www.congress.gov/bill/112th-congress/house-bill/5736. This bill essentially removes restrictions that prevented the government from carrying out propaganda campaigns in the United States. Seeing the escalation of alarmist, divisive rhetoric coming from government officials and mainstream "news" outlets, and the decline of national pride and cohesiveness of citizens, it is not difficult to imagine that this has all been carefully scripted and has been very successful. Power structures have always benefitted by using a divide and conquer strategy and look no further than the implementation of globalist policies that clearly only benefit the most powerful and wealthy, and consolidate resources and wealth for global elites, such as the banking cartel and their surrogates. Do some digging into the political and financial reach of the World Economic Forum and their partners and you will see many of the same players and their involvement in many of these globalist agendas and a push for a system Stakeholder Capitalism, in which a small group of financial elites own resources on a large scale and citizens lease property and resources from the stakeholders. This model is in line with the famous quote from Klaus Schwab's Covid 19 - The Great Reset, book, "you will own nothing and be happy". Imagine if you were a powerful player on the world stage and you could control the narratives that citizens of the world were being exposed to through a variety of sources. How would you structure the presentation of those narratives? Would it not be more beneficial to present both officially endorsed narratives AND counter narratives that would serve to keep people distracted away from the more nefarious things at play?
My theory on how this methodology is being used is very simple. Have the obvious official narratives that are broadly presented through the mainstream media: television news outlets, newspapers, radio stations, and official websites, along with government officials, but then also have approved counter narratives that are pushed by seemingly dissenting politicians, media personalities, and so-called alternative media sources, such as large social media content creators. These counter narratives never get to the larger, underlying, core issues, but instead focus on surface issues that have some obvious cultural or economic relevance. The Israel-Palestinian conflict is a prime example of this. Many well-known media personalities and larger content creators seemingly will not stray from a clearly dichotomous narrative, and if content creators address the obvious elephant in the room - the decimation of Gaza and it's citizens - they get demonitized or cancelled in some way. Furthermore, questions about the involvement of large global banks in these regions of conflict around the world, and how they will benefit from the destruction of these areas, are rarely raised by those with a wide reach.
Look at the widespread amplification of very identifiable official and palatable counter narratives, and the suppression of any discussion of underlying, wide-reaching and much more significant narratives and you will begin to see the propaganda machine at work. Divide, confuse, distract. Finally, look no further than who benefits from the charade. I will be posting soon about how these nefarious tactics are at play in governments around the world and the ways in which they deceive the many for the benefit of the few. It gets pretty complicated.
